Miss Rebecca

Miss Rebecca began dancing at The Carol May Academy of Dance and during her training gained distinction at all levels of RAD and achieved the ARAD (associate of The Royal Academy of dance) in 2006.

Rebecca trained at White Lodge where she danced with The Royal Ballet company in The Nutcracker and at the opening ceremony of The Royal Opera House, in front of her majesty the Queen.

Rebecca continued her training at Elmhurst Ballet School Where she gained her Trinity Diploma in professional dance and went on tour with The Birmingham Royal Ballet.

Rebecca danced as a professional ballet dancer at The Estonian Vanemuine Ballet company for three years; dancing many roles in numerous classical and neo-classical ballets. She also danced with Cork City Ballet and London Ballet Ensemble before going onto complete the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance, gaining a Distinction and her RAD registered teacher status. 

She currently teaches at the Royal Academy of Dance’s Dance School and on their national and international workshops and summer programmes. Most recently Rebecca has helped to establish the junior’s syllabus for English National Ballet School and is their current juniors tutor. Rebecca loves sharing her passion for dance and passing on her performance and technical knowledge with the children she teaches.

Miss Hannah

Miss Hannah fell in love with dance from a young age. She started ballet when she was 3 years old in Cumbria and went on to study many different styles when moving to Connecticut USA. 

On her return from America she was determined to have a career in dance teaching and later went on to study it at university where she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance with a BA (Hons) Ballet Education.

She also graduated from the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance program with a distinction, where she studied the RAD syllabus in depth. 

Hannah has taken many RAD ballet exams and received a distinction on her Advanced 2. She loves teaching dance to children of all ages and is very passionate about her work

Miss Dakoda

Miss Dakoda Matthews-Forth Dakoda Matthews-Forth, the Founder and Director of Knightsbridge Ballet, started her dance training at the age of four.

She received a full scholarship to attend a three year residential dance/dance teacher’s course at the Cardigan School of Dancing and continued to train in New York, LA, and Tokyo. She danced professionally and worldwide in TV, Music Videos, Commercials, Cabarets, Musical Theatre Shows, Jazz Festivals and others, for companies including Louis Vuitton, Diesel, Miss Universe, Tokyo Disneyland, Tiffany’s, Gas, 20th Century Fox, K-Swiss, Mini-Cooper, Adidas, Astra and Casio. 

She holds teaching qualifications with the Royal Academy of Dance (Distinction) – The British Ballet Organization (Distinction) and The International Dance Teachers Association Tap and Modern Associates (Honours). 

She began preparing and entering students for RAD exams in 1996 and holds a 100% pass rate. In 2000, she was delighted to be offered a position in Tokyo under the Royal Ballet graduate Miss Ana Keates. Then in 2002, she became principal teacher for The International Dance Academy. 

During this time she choreographed and directed many theatre and ballet productions for children and professional artists, as well as being a guest teacher and choreographer at many International Summer and Easter dance seminars. 

Dakoda has now taught dance for over 16 years at over 20 schools and academy’s to children, adults and professionals. In 2007 she put all her energy, passion and love of dance into one place & opened the DDA. The Director Dakoda Matthews-Forth

Miss Annabelle

Annabelle trained at Laine Theatre Arts and graduated in 2018. Through her time at Laine she taught Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz gaining her DDI teaching qualification in both Ballet and Modern.

Credits include Hairspray (Royal Caribbean), Eugenius at the Palladium, Dance Captain For Qdos ‘Peter
Pan’ (Cardiff New Theatre) and London Children’s Ballet Nanny McPhee at Sadlers Wells.

Annabelle is excited to teach at Knightsbridge Ballet and is looking forward to creating an exciting and fun space to inspire students to perform.
